Perfect Swan

​I Co-Creative Directed, modeled and copy edited this project for our University's student magazine, The Issue. For this issue, the theme was titled "Dystopian Now", which aimed to visually encompass the current culture in our society and it's similar characteristics to dystopian themes that we as a society originally never thought we would reach. For our project, "Perfect Swan," we created a six-page magazine spread and two short films (can be viewed through the links at the bottom of the page) that personified the concept of being self-obsessed in our modern age, and how trying to reach an impossible state of physical perfection ultimately leads to one's own destruction.

In my role as Co-Creative director, I worked alongside my partner, Kai Heverly, to generate the pitch and general message of our project, craft the screenplay of each short film, set up and film shots, edit photos and layout the magazine spreads.
