About Me

My name is Mirabella Villanueva. I was born and raised in the Bay Area, California. Throughout my life, I've been exposed to a number of cultures while growing up in such a culturally rich and diverse city, leading me to be inspired from my surroundings from a young age. I've always been drawn to the art of storytelling and how one can share information not only through writing, but forms of expression like fashion, makeup, art and so much more. Both my parents are incredible artists and have inspired me in my creative endeavors, exposing me to inspiring materials throughout my life, like art museums, movies, books and more. Out of all my interests, journalism and creative design have always stuck with me, and I find myself the happiest I get to use these tools to share ideas and visions with others. Upon discovering Strategic Communications, I fell in love with the practice and how it uses subjects like journalism, design and marketing, all to make incredible visons come to life. Whether its doing a project in my journalism class to design a mock-up campaign, or using my knowledge on advertising and sales as a Beauty Advisor for Sephora, I enjoy nothing more exchanging inspiring information with others and seeing what that creates.
